Below are Photostories of our fantastic overnight stay at Underwater World. In order to view the shows you will need to play them all the way through. When you do this the first time they will stop and start so it is best to turn down the volume and walk away until they have played all the way through. When you play them through a second time they will play beautifully.
Hope you enjoy........

Welcome to Year 2S!
Welcome to our Wiki page! We are very excited to be able to share our classroom with you through our class page.
General Notices
Welcome to Term 4! I hope that you all had a relaxing break. This term students will be studying a unit of work titled 'Seasons and Cultural Events'. In this unit, students will investigate how the way people live may be affected by seasonal factors. They will also learn that many events and celebrations in different countries coincide with particular seasons in many cultures.
Click here to see some work created by your children.
Student's Wiki Pages
Each Year 2 student has their own Wiki Page. Students can access their own personal page that they have created themselves by clicking on their name below.
Using the Internet site below (or any other resource you find suitable), read about dolphins (you can select any dolphin you like). Once you have finished your research, list three interesting facts about dolphins on your Wiki page.
3. What do seals have to keep them warm in cold water?
4. What do seals eat?
WIKI HOMEWORK ACTIVITY - TERM 4, WEEK 1
Click on the website below - this will take you to a site titled 'Earth Calendar'. Click on the 'Holidays by Country' tab at the top of the page. Select the year 2009 from the drop down menu and then select a country. Once you have selected the year and the country click on the 'show holidays' tab at the bottom of the page. This will bring up a list of holidays that are celebrated in your selected country. Write three of these celebrations into your homework book (or your Wiki page) under the title 'Celebrations'. Be ready to share these holidays with the class.
Click on the website below - this will take you to a web site titled 'Santa's Net' - Christmas Traditions Around the World. Select a country and then write three facts about the Christmas celebrations of this country into your homework book.
We access these websites in the classroom and the students love them. Many of the websites are interactive and support the development of students literacy and numeracy skills.
